Today is one of those days you will never forget. Today was my last day of serving at West Lake Baptist Church in Chandler. It has been such an honor to serve the students of West Lake and the church. At the end of the service they had our little family of 3 stand in the middle of the sanctuary and they prayed for us and sent us out for the next chapter of our story. It was very humbling to have so many people lay hands on you and pray for you. These past 4 years have been an incredible journey. Kathryn and I went from just the 2 of us to a family of 3 with the addition of our precious little girl. I have grown in my knowledge of God and how to serve Him by serving others. Thank you West Lake.
After the service ended our family of 3 headed to join our new church family for an open house. We are so excited about joining Bethel Bible Church in Tyler as the director of Family ministries at Bethel Bible Downtown. It was incredible to see new faces and some familiar faces as we walked around the new location we will be investing our lives. There is a huge window overlooking broadway. As I looked out that window I was overwhelmed with the call of God to lift up the name of Jesus in this city. So here’s to new beginnings, new challenges and new growth.
If you don’t already have plans for Easter Sunday. I would love to invite you to join us at either one of Bethel’s locations. It is going to be an incredible time of celebrating Jesus and all that He has done!
